Dr. Amanda Rockwood, D.D.S.
Dr. Amanda Rockwood was raised in Farmington, Maine and graduated from Mt. Blue High School. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and B.S. in Biology from Eastern Connecticut State University. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2005 where she annually received the Deans Commendation, scholarships for academic achievement, and the coveted Academy of General Dentistry Award. She went on to pursue a General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Administration in Manchester, New Hampshire. She returned to Maine in 2006 to establish her dental career in Gorham where she maintained a high level of professional excellence through extensive continuing education. She is known for her high standards for quality, and compassion for patients.
She has been a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, Greater Portland Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry since 2006.
When she is not in the office she loves to explore the mountains and seacoast with her husband of 17 years and their young daughter. She enjoys gardening, cooking, jogging, hiking, and quality time with family and friends.
